Saying not yet is a lot harder when your kid is the only one. This is how you stop being the only one.
You add the families in your kid's group, reach out to them, and mark who's in. Once a few of them agree on the same timeline the whole question changes, because now it's what the group does rather than your rule against everybody else, and that's the version your kid can actually live with at school.
You don't need everyone. A handful of families holding the same line is enough for your kid to have company, and for you to have some too when you're the one saying no on a Friday night.
Add as many families as you want, keep track of where each one stands, and send it to them when you're ready. It's free, and nobody you invite needs an account to see it.
