The Digital Childhood
About The Digital Childhood
Calm guidance for raising kids in a digital world.
Why this exists
A hard tech moment happened with my daughter, and I didn't have a place to go to help me figure out what to do. I needed the tech context, the words to say, and the connection with other parents to know I wasn't the only one figuring this out.
So I built The Digital Childhood, so that in a constantly changing digital world, we have each other and a real resource to lean on when hard tech moments come up with our kids.
What you'll find
Real conversation scripts for the moments that catch you off guard. Plain-language explainers on the apps, algorithms, and AI tools your child uses. Family pacts, friend-group pacts, and offline activity ideas. An AI assistant trained on the site's own content to help you find the right script for your situation.
