Sound familiar?

"But everyone else has one."

Every parent hits the same moments. The first phone request. The social media ask. The AI homework question. You don't have to wing it, and you don't have to turn it into a fight. We give you the words to say, what not to say, and the calm to say it.

"The conversations that actually work, before you're in the middle of one."

When your kid says this...

K
"Everyone has Snapchat except me. Why are you so strict?"
What you could say
"I hear you, and I know it feels like that. 'Everyone' almost never means everyone, it means the loudest people in your group. Before I say yes or no, let's talk about what you'd actually use it for. I want to understand it with you, not just hand down a rule."

Know their world

What every app, game, and AI tool actually is, in language that makes sense.

Explain It

The words you need

Real scripts for the hard conversations, plus a builder for your exact moment.

Protect

Hold the line together

Family, friend-group, and school pacts you build together, plus offline ideas.

Plus The Digital Childhood AI, the Tech Translator for the slang you keep hearing, and new guidance added all the time.

The whole point

This is the childhood we're protecting.

More creek-stomping and bike rides, fewer hours lost to a feed. The Digital Childhood is on the side of real life.

The difference

Not another monitoring app.

There's no software on your kid's device. We don't track them, read their messages, or block anything. The Digital Childhood is parent-side. What you get is the language and the context for the conversations you're already trying to have.

No surveillance No blocking No guilt No ads, ever
From the founder
"I built The Digital Childhood as the app I wished my own parents had, and the one I wish I had now as a mom of two. I'm not here to make you afraid of technology. I'm here to help you raise kids who can handle it, one calm conversation at a time."

Good questions

The things parents ask first.

How much does it cost?
Free during the beta. At launch it's $4.99 a month or $39 a year, with a 30-day free trial. Join now and you keep the founding rate of $29 a year, for life. One subscription covers your whole family.
What's included?
All of it, no tier walls. Clear explainers on every app and AI tool, a growing library of conversation scripts plus a builder, the Family, Friend Group, and School pacts, hundreds of offline activity ideas, the Tech Translator, and The Digital Childhood AI.
Does the app monitor my child?
No. The app is parent-side. There's no software on your kid's device, and we don't read their messages or track them. What we give you is the language and context for the conversations you're already trying to have.
Do I need to download anything?
No. It opens in your phone browser, and you can add it to your home screen if you want it to feel like an app. An iOS version is coming later in 2026.
How is the Family Pact different from rules?
A pact is something your family writes together. You pick only the agreements that fit your home, and your kids see their own name on it when you sign it. A pact your kids helped pick is a pact your kids will keep.
Can my kid use the app?
The app is built for parents. When you add your kids, you enter their first name, age, and stage, and we treat that as parent-provided context. Kids don't sign in or have profiles of their own.
How do I cancel?
Settings, Manage subscription, Cancel. One tap, and your access runs to the end of your billing period. No retention scripts, no phone tree.
