What Does Opp Mean?
Opp is short for opposition, and it means enemy or someone you're against. It came out of drill and rap music and moved into everyday kid slang.
Where you'd hear it
You'll hear it from about ten up, usually jokingly, about a rival team, a kid they don't like, or a teacher. Most of the time it's not serious.
Is it a problem?
Where it's worth attention is when it stops being a joke. If your kid is talking about actual opps, plural, with real people attached, that's a conflict conversation and not a slang conversation.

Ask who, and ask what happened. The word is the least interesting part.
