What Does Mid Mean?
Mid means mediocre. Not bad, not good, just unremarkable. It's a dismissal.
Where you'd hear it
It's everywhere from about eight up and kids use it about food, movies, music, outfits, and each other.
Is it a problem?
It's not a problem in itself, it's just the current word for meh.
What to do with it
The only thing I'd watch is when it's aimed at a person's appearance, because that lands harder than it sounds. Used about a movie it's nothing. Used about a kid, it's a small cut.
