What Does Delulu Mean?
Delulu is short for delusional, and it's almost always a joke. Kids use it about themselves when they're being unrealistically optimistic about something, usually a crush or a hope that isn't going to happen.
Where you'd hear it
You'll hear it in group chats and on TikTok, mostly from middle school on up, and often as "delulu is the solulu," which is a joke about deciding to believe something anyway. It's used affectionately and it's not an insult in most cases.
