What it means

A second account, often Instagram or Snapchat, used for casual posting that friends can see but main-feed followers can’t. It’s like a finsta, but it’s used for memes, jokes and feelings more than secrets, and it’s common from middle school up.

How to bring it up with your kid

"I've heard of spam accounts. Do you have one, or do your friends? I care a lot less about what's on it than about you still talking to me." Keep it light.
