Robux Scam

Explained for parents by The Digital Childhood.

What it means

Fake offers for free Roblox currency (Robux), that reach kids through DMs, YouTube comments and fake websites promising free Robux if they hand over their username and password. It’s really common, and kids lose their accounts and parents find charges on the card that was linked.

How to bring it up with your kid

"Has anyone ever offered you free Robux? If anybody offers you something free and asks for your password, it's a scam. Every single time." I’d say this one to them, even if you think they already know.
