What it means

A one-sided emotional relationship with a content creator, streamer, or celebrity. The kid feels really close to them, and the creator doesn’t even know they exist. It’s really common with YouTubers, Twitch streamers and TikTokers, and it can really hurt when a creator lets them down or stops posting.

How to bring it up with your kid

"Do you ever feel like you actually know one of the creators you watch? That feeling's real, but they don't know you back. It's okay to love watching them. I just want you to know that part."
