What it means
Asserting dominance over someone through appearance, status, or achievements. "He mogged the whole room." It comes out of looksmaxxing videos on TikTok and YouTube. Kids use it as a joke, but it also comes from the idea that how you look decides how much you’re worth to other people.
How to bring it up with your kid
"What does that mean with your friends?" If it's just joking around, that's fine. If they're ranking each other by how they look, I'd want to talk about that.
