What it means

Locket Widget puts your friends' photos right on your phone's home screen. When a friend sends one it just shows up, with no preview and no way to say no. It's meant for close friends, up to 20, but kids post their Locket link on TikTok and Reddit to get more friends, and then strangers' pictures land on their home screen.

How to bring it up with your kid

"Who's on your Locket? Is it people you actually know?" Keep it to real friends, because whatever they send shows up on your home screen.
