What it means
AI made characters with made up Italian sounding names, like a shark in sneakers called Tralalero Tralala and Ballerina Cappuccina, with chants kids repeat constantly. There's even a huge Roblox game built around them. Most of it is just silly, but some of the original chants have swearing and ugly jokes in Italian that kids repeat without knowing.
How to bring it up with your kid
"Okay, who's your favorite brainrot character? Do you know what the words mean?" Let them tell you all about it. If they don't know what a chant means, you can look it up together.
