What it means
Excessively praising someone, often to the point of being annoying or insincere. "Stop glazing him." Similar to being a sycophant. Used in gaming and social media when someone defends a creator or friend no matter what.

No concern. Just social commentary. If anything, it shows awareness of when praise is performative vs. genuine. That's healthy critical thinking.
