Ghost Mode

What it means

The setting that hides your location on Snap Map. Snap Map is off by default now, but kids turn it on so their friends can see where they are, and some use Ghost Mode for everyone except a few friends. Snapchat itself still knows where they are either way.

How to bring it up with your kid

"Who can see where you are on Snapchat?" Have them show you. I'd want it on Ghost Mode, or shared with just a couple of friends we both know.
